Christian Formation at st. mark's

Christian Formation is a life-long process in one's journey of faith. The goal at St. Mark's is to create an environment which enables people of all ages to discover themselves as God's people and to carry out the ministries to which they are called.

At St. Mark's we encourage families to worship together. We believe that children best learn about the church by experience and imitation so we invite you to bring children of any age to worship. Don't worry if your children won't sit still. We understand that is part of being a child! If your child needs to take a walk or get a drink, please feel free to attend to those needs and return to the service.

A Children's Activity Center is located just outside our main worship area.

There you will find crayons, stickers and toys along with coloring and activity sheets. Please take advantage of these materials during the service. Children may go and come from this area throughout the service or

may stay at the provided table to play during worship.

Nursery Care is also available on Sunday mornings from 9:00 A.M. until Noon.

(during both worship services and adult formation)

The nursery attendants are trained child-care providers with necessary clearances and trainings.

The nursery is available for children through kindergarten.

For our young people

St. Mark's offers church school classes for our young people ages 3 years through 5th grade. Class begins at 10:45 A.M. on Sunday mornings and run until 11:30, so everyone can be back in the church in time for communion.
