Children and Youth
St. Mark’s welcomes families of all kinds into our vibrant and diverse community of faith. We believe that children and youth are a central part of our community life. Children, youth and families are encouraged to participate in a variety of opportunities for worship, education, service and fellowship.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, worship is currently taking place either online or in person while practicing safe social distancing. When we are gathering regularly in-person, nursery care and children’s chapel is offered during all Sunday services..
During the pandemic, St. Mark’s and the Cathedral of St. Paul will offer a number of opportunities for adult and children’s formation.
Operation Son of God
Pre-K and elementary age children and their parents and guardians are invited to discover the truth about a man named Jesus, who claims to be God’s Son. We’ll solve the mystery through storytelling, art, movement, music, science, and lots of fun. A series of videos lead you and your agents step-by-step through each of the five weeks of this curriculum, which requires minimal preparation. We hope you find this to be a fun and easy way to bring church to the cozy confines of your home.
