Welcome to St. Mark’s
St. Mark’s is an open and inclusive Episcopal church. We are a Christian community committed to sharing God’s love. In our baptism service, we promise to love our neighbors as ourselves and uphold the dignity of every human being — everybody, no exceptions.
You are welcome here.
We offer a sacred place to pray and experience Jesus Christ, through scripture and sacrament. We celebrate Holy Eucharist each Sunday. Sermons help us to apply Bible teachings to our individual and common lives. Bulletins provide everything you need for worship each Sunday.
We believe a life of faith involves asking tough questions, and we are therefore committed to providing a safe place for learning and spiritual growth. We know the search for a new church can be difficult. If you would like to talk to one of our parish leaders about life at St. Mark’s, please email or call us at (814) 452-3779.
On Sunday Mornings, nursery care is offered for children through the age of 5. Our nursery staff are trained childcare providers with necessary training and clearances. Please sign your child in upon arrival and let the staff know if your child should be returned to church for communion.
Children’s Chapel is also offered during the 10:00 Worship Service. Our friends in Kindergarten through 5th Grade are invited to leave the church at a designated time during the service to attend Children’s Chapel. Their time includes hearing and learning about the bible story of the day. They return to church in time for communion with their families.
