As Episcopalians, we believe that the mission of the church is to restore all people to unity with God and to each other in Jesus Christ. People work at this mission in their homes, neighborhoods, schools, workplaces and communities. Some aspects of mission we undertake together as a congregation.

St. Mark’s partnership with local schools, our engagement with Erie’s homeless population, and providing goods to countless social service agencies are just a few of the ways we are reaching out to our neighbors in need. Even during the pandemic we have done numerous collections for area agencies, been involved in BLM marches, and delivered meals to hospital workers.

Most of our engagement with the city is done with the Cathedral of St. Paul. Together we engage with our community partners to make a difference in Erie.
